And can we get copies to free?<\/p>\n<p>(JSTOR are not a soft and fluffy nonprofit. They are an <a href=\"http:\/\/anterotesis.com\/wordpress\/2011\/07\/economics-of-jstor\/\">exceedingly murky<\/a> nonprofit.)<\/p>\n<p>Some are already uploaded to Commons. <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikisource.org\/wiki\/Wikisource:WikiProject_Royal_Society_Journals\">Here<\/a> is the Wikisource project.<\/p>\n<p>(I&#8217;m in the UK, where the state of the law concerning slavish copies of public domain works is still in a state of quantum uncertainty, and no-one quite wants to joggle it until the lay of the land is clearer.
