No advertising may be used which expressly or implicitly claims to cure named diseases.&#8221;<\/i> When Andy Lewis of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.quackometer.net\/\">Quackometer<\/a> found a SOH-registered homeopath blatantly flouting the code and wrote about it, the SOH promptly dealt with the offender &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Well, no &mdash; they <a href=\"http:\/\/www.quackometer.net\/blog\/2007\/08\/gentle-art-of-homeopathic-killing.html\">forced his ISP to take it down<\/a> under the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Godfrey_v._Demon_Internet_Service\">Laurence Godfrey<\/a> precedent (the mere threat can scare a UK ISP). This has led to the original article being <a href=\"http:\/\/gimpyblog.wordpress.com\/2007\/10\/11\/the-society-of-homeopaths-silence-criticism-through-cowardly-legal-means\/\">mirrored<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/dcscience.net\/?p=171\">across<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/scienceblogs.com\/insolence\/2007\/10\/homeopathic_thuggery_bites_the_host_of_t.php\">the<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/forums.randi.org\/showthread.php?postid=3051309#post3051309\">net<\/a>. And has <a href=\"http:\/\/www.guardian.co.uk\/science\/2007\/oct\/20\/homeopathy\">made the news<\/a>.
