Mostly the talk was of compliance, compliance, compliance.<\/p>\n<p>(One questioner at the end detailed how he didn&#8217;t think the SEC was applying the Howey test correctly to ICO tokens. They discovered there was nothing out there on how to do ICO promotion well, so they put together this event. They&#8217;ve also done a report, which they&#8217;ll be uploading soon.<\/p>\n<p>The target audience was businesses looking to raise funding; we got a lot of those, people already running ICOs, and people curious about ICOs and all the blockchain hype.<\/p>\n<p>The speakers were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>David White from <a href=\"https:\/\/keybox.co\/\">Keybox;<\/a>\n<li>Davide Vicini from <a href=\"https:\/\/maveric.ch\/\">Maveric SA;<\/a>\n<li>me, being more positive about the possibility of doing this sort of thing in a non-fraudulent manner than you might have expected from <a href=\"https:\/\/davidgerard.co.uk\/blockchain\/icos-magic-beans-and-bubble-machines\/\">the ICO section<\/a> in <a href=\"https:\/\/davidgerard.co.uk\/blockchain\/\">the book.<\/a>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Someone from Keybox got a <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TheKeybox\/status\/1007297634472726529\">video stream<\/a> of the first 63 minutes (cuts off during the question period) \u2014 not terrible for a phone recording!
