So the CFTC is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/u-s-regulators-demand-trading-data-from-bitcoin-exchanges-in-manipulation-probe-1528492835\">demanding it directly from the exchanges<\/a> as part of their <a href=\"https:\/\/davidgerard.co.uk\/blockchain\/2018\/05\/24\/explaining-the-justice-department-cftc-criminal-investigation-into-bitcoin-trading-and-likely-bitfinex-tether\/\">criminal investigation<\/a> into Bitcoin market manipulation. &#8220;The fight over access to bitcoin trading data was a factor in the CFTC opening an investigation into whether traders have colluded to manipulate bitcoin prices, people familiar with the matter said.&#8221;<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>KodakCoin&#8217;s pre-ICO buyer, Global Blockchain, is trying to <a href=\"https:\/\/globenewswire.com\/news-release\/2018\/06\/07\/1518547\/0\/en\/Global-Blockchain-a-lead-investor-in-the-KODAKOne-Platform-Announces-the-KODAKCoin-to-be-the-Cryptocurrency-to-Six-Major-NBA-and-NHL-Arenas-in-the-U-S.html\">apply sufficient thrust<\/a> to make this pig fly \u2014 six National Basketball Association or National Hockey League arenas <a href=\"https:\/\/globenewswire.com\/news-release\/2018\/06\/07\/1518268\/0\/en\/WENN-Digital-and-OVG-Partner-To-Bring-the-Rights-Registration-and-Protection-Experience-of-the-KODAKOne-Image-Rights-Management-Platform-and-KODAKCoin-Cryptocurrency-to-Six-Major-N.html\">will accept<\/a> this as-yet-nonexistent crypto token for &#8230; something, in the future, when they write some software. The SAFT is <a href=\"https:\/\/davidgerard.co.uk\/blockchain\/2018\/05\/29\/kodak-pt-6-kodakcoins-on-sale-and-the-reg-a-escape-route\/\">currently running!<\/a><\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>I just got passed a document detailing how, while KodakCoin&#8217;s first round token offering was fully subscribed at $3,250,000 &#8230; the second round token offering was aiming for $6,750,000 &mdash; and netted only $880,000. I wonder how the current round &mdash; hoping for $73.5m &mdash; is going.<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Somebody&#8217;s made<a href=\"https:\/\/www.etherchain.org\/account\/0x957cd4ff9b3894fc78b5134a8dc72b032ffbc464#transactions\"> $20m<\/a> by scanning across the Internet for copies of Ethereum full-node client <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/ethereum\/go-ethereum\/wiki\/geth\">geth<\/a> misconfigured to have <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/360Netlab\/status\/974374944711815168\">port 8545 open.<\/a> By default, it only listens on the localhost \u2014 but, of course, users fiddled with it.
