Thank you!\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>China is <a href=\"https:\/\/davidgerard.co.uk\/blockchain\/2018\/01\/06\/bitcoin-mining-being-pushed-out-of-china-whats-happening-and-how-the-shutdowns-being-managed\/\">kicking out the Bitcoin miners<\/a> as more of its hydroelectric power joins the national grid. Hydro-Qu\u00e9bec doesn&#8217;t seem to be hooked into Canada&#8217;s very well, though, as they&#8217;re <a href=\"http:\/\/www.journaldequebec.com\/2018\/01\/09\/hydro-pourrait-se-lancer-dans-les-maisons-intelligentes\">actively recruiting crypto miners<\/a> to make up for their considerable spare capacity now that household customers are using less power and putting up their own solar for what they do use.\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>South Korea, too, is looking to bring more Good News for Bitcoin and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/uk-southkorea-bitcoin\/south-korea-plans-to-ban-cryptocurrency-trading-rattles-market-idUSKBN1F002A\">free it from its ties to filthy fiat currency!<\/a><\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>We&#8217;ve had brazil.txt, we&#8217;ve had <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/Anarcho_Capitalism\/comments\/3ucp8y\/i_was_beat_up_by_left_anarchists_in_greece\/\">greece.txt<\/a> \u2014 I bring you <a href=\"https:\/\/np.reddit.com\/r\/korea\/comments\/7pntot\/going_to_jail_help_me_please\/\">korea.txt<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/archive.is\/KrrAR\">archive<\/a>). If any LN proponents want to object, please point me to official or semi-official writeups of the LN&#8217;s anticipated economics in practice.<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>It&#8217;s occasionally relevant to keep in mind that Ethereum is, in technical terms, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/ethereum-time-highs-overshadow-wave-technical-issues\/\">a shambling pile of code that sort of works<\/a>.
