(And there should be <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Bitfinexed\/status\/927549758746611712\">more shortly<\/a>.) I&#8217;m not looking forward to either.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Joi Ito is disconcerted to discover that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/mit-media-lab-joi-ito-icos-attract-wrong-people\/\">ICOs are &#8220;attracting the wrong people&#8221;<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 <em>i.e.,<\/em> that when you explicitly design a system to avoid regulation, it ends up with an unfortunate lack of regulation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Social network Ello finally works out a business plan! <a href=\"https:\/\/ello.co\/noudio\/post\/m5nrhewciyh7i1ajzlvgrg\">Mining Monero in users&#8217; browsers<\/a>. Apparently <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/Buttcoin\/comments\/7b1eev\/social_network_ello_finally_works_out_a_business\/\">their Cloudflare account was hacked<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Well done to <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/User:Jytdog\">Jytdog<\/a> on Wikipedia for helping clean up the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Wikipedia:Conflict_of_interest\/Noticeboard\/Archive_122#Monero_.28cryptocurrency.29\">spammy crypto articles<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/themerkle.com\/monero-wikipedia-page-is-vandalized-by-unknown-entity\/\">shame on Merkle News<\/a> for its targeted attack.
