James Palmer pinged me on Tuesday to write something explaining the recent meteoric price rise of Dogecoin. I spent a day procrastinating, then I started off with the <a href=\"https:\/\/davidgerard.co.uk\/blockchain\/dogecoin\/\">Dogecoin section<\/a> from <a href=\"https:\/\/davidgerard.co.uk\/blockchain\/book\/\"><em>Attack of the 50 Foot Blockchain<\/em><\/a>,\u00a0 wrote a <em>tour de force<\/em> in an hour on Wednesday and sent it in. He ran it with minor copyedits today. [<a href=\"https:\/\/foreignpolicy.com\/2021\/02\/11\/dogecoin-how-does-it-work-elon-musk-cryptocurrency\/\"><em>Foreign Policy<\/em><\/a>]<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;d like to particularly thank my Patrons \u2014 you&#8217;re marvellous co-conspirators. In particular, Jonathan Rynd \u2014 I lifted &#8220;the worst of humanity&#8221; directly from him.
